As 2024 comes to a close, we at Coupler.io would like to share how our product has evolved and highlight what achievements we’ve had this year. Whether you’re a long-time Coupler.io user, a curious newcomer, or someone who’s taken a detour from our platform, here’s why 2024 was a year to remember—and why 2025 promises even more.
From data integration to a platform for insightful reports
In 2020, Coupler.io emerged as an ambitious data connector built on the legacy of the Airtable importer add-on for Google Sheets. For the next couple of years, our efforts were focused on providing a comprehensive data integration tool.
However, in 2024, we reimagined our identity and mission by evolving from a data integration tool to becoming a data platform for insightful reporting. This shift positions Coupler.io as a more versatile solution. It enables users to export data seamlessly and gain actionable insights, saving them time and effort.
Users can now focus on decision-making rather than spending hours on data preparation. Coupler.io is becoming a one-stop shop for marketers, sales experts, finance teams, and other data professionals.
Rise in popularity of Coupler.io connector for Looker Studio
The Coupler.io connector for Looker Studio became one of the most popular partner connectors for this data visualization tool. This recognition solidifies our reputation in the marketing, sales, and finance sectors. It also ensures that users can easily connect over 60 data sources to Looker Studio and automate reporting.
Most installs originated from our ready-to-use dashboard templates in Looker Studio, but this is related to another achievement we will share later.
Reporting and business intelligence
Dashboards became a cornerstone of Coupler.io’s offerings in 2024. We’ve published 87 dashboard templates that provide tailored solutions for marketing, sales, PPC advertising, social media, and more.
Importantly, three of these dashboards are available within the Coupler.io UI, meaning they are independent of any BI tool. In total, we now offer over 100 dashboard templates that support 30 data sources and 5 destinations. They provide users with an instant jumpstart, delivering actionable insights with minimal setup.
Diversification of templates’ platforms
Our first dashboards in 2023 were designed in Looker Studio. It still remains our key platform, but we’ve also added templates for Google Sheets, Power BI, and Tableau. This way, we ensure flexibility for users with varying needs and tool preferences.
Unprecedented engagement with Coupler.io dashboard templates in Looker Studio
All of our dashboard templates in Looker Studio have generated over 250,000 views. This has contributed to the rising popularity of the Coupler.io connector that we mentioned earlier. It also proves that our dashboard templates are relevant and bring value to users across multiple industries, enabling them to make data-driven decisions.
Coupler.io breakthroughs
The contribution of dashboard templates is huge but we should not forget about their backbone – Coupler.io. Its development has also progressed well in 2024.
Launch of the Coupler.io built-in visualization
As you know, most of the new features and improvements at Coupler.io are driven by feedback from our users. We gather this feedback through forms and interviews. During these interviews, we discovered that many of our users hate their dashboarding tool.
So, we decided to create a built-in visualization, Coupler.io Dashboards, to transform raw data into compelling visuals without the need to load data to a third-party BI tool.
First, you won’t need to choose between the supported destinations to visualize your report anymore.
“Looker Studio or Google Sheets?…I’ll just do this in Coupler.io faster!”
Not to mention that you won’t need additional knowledge of this or that visualization tool.
Second, the built-in data visualization allows us to close the loop between data integration and decision-making. Coupler.io users can now seamlessly move from raw data to insights, all in one place.
We’ve just launched Coupler.io Dashboards, so it still has some rough edges. However, we plan to significantly develop it in 2025.
Coupler.io’s data storage to handle huge volumes of data
This novelty is a game-changer for creating high-performance dashboards. It allows you to handle massive datasets directly within Coupler.io. This ensures optimal performance even as data grows.
You no longer need first to import data, let’s say, to BigQuery and then load SQL queries to Looker Studio. With our storage solution, your data is always ready for reporting. You can focus solely on designing insightful dashboards without the hassle of worrying about data infrastructure.
In short, scalable storage ensures your analytics efforts can scale alongside your business needs. And all without the steep learning curve of traditional analytics tools.
New design
The year began with an update to the Coupler.io user interface, which aimed to provide a smoother, more intuitive experience for all users. Our goal was to enhance productivity for existing users and facilitate easier onboarding for new users.
Free plan + fairer billing
We’ve enhanced the offered subscription plans to make Coupler.io accessible to a wider range of users. The introduction of the free plan encouraged more small teams and individuals to try Coupler.io.
In addition, we shifted our approach to billing from how many rows you export to how many data connections you have. This allowed us to remove data limits for most of the sources and release our users from the pain of counting their row limits.
Only a few metered (high-volume) sources, such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Airtable, and others have data volume limitations. At the same time, the Business plan offers no limits for data export size for all sources including metered ones.
Data Join and Aggregation
The transformation options available at Coupler.io were increased with Data Join and Aggregation. They’ve simplified complex data operations and enabled non-technical users to analyze data like pros.
Data Join allows you to blend data from different sources, which is crucial for cross-channel reports. For example, you can easily combine information from Google Analytics with records from Google Search Console to analyze your website performance.
With Data Aggregation, users can efficiently summarize and manipulate data using operations like sum, average, count, min, or max on specific columns. This feature is ideal for generating high-level overviews or detailed summaries directly within the platform. The main benefit of using Data Aggregation is that you do not need to first load thousands of rows to the destination and then aggregate them by specific metrics or dimensions. Coupler.io allows you to do this on the go before loading.

Coupler.io add-ons
It’s funny that Coupler.io, which started as a Google Sheets add-on, has offered add-ons in 2024 itself. However, our add-ons are services that extend Coupler.io’s functionality. They help users achieve their analytics goals without needing to hire in-house experts.
Coupler.io add-ons save businesses the cost and effort of building an analytics team while delivering professional-quality results.
Solution Partners Program launch
The launch of the Solution Partners Program in 2024 was meant to expand Coupler.io’s capabilities through collaborations with experts and agencies. You can join over 300 partners and over 1 million users and leverage expert solutions that integrate seamlessly with Coupler.io and maximize your ROI.

This part also relates to marketing triumphs. Yet, we decided to separate them in a separate section to emphasize that Coupler.io didn’t just grow but gained recognition in 2024.

Looking ahead to 2025
With these achievements in our rearview mirror, our eyes are set on what’s next. You should definitely expect more dashboards, smarter analytics, and innovative ways to integrate and analyze your data.
We’ve already recruited hundreds of minions that will help you analyze your data and provide valuable hints and insights. The modern trend, however, says that we should do this using AI but an army of minions seems more reliable, what do you think? ?
Another thing that we expect in 2025 is the expansion of our list of integrations. The backlog of source applications to be added is pretty long. And keep in mind that you can also request your particular source.
The same goes for destinations. For instance, we plan to release Google Analytics 4 as a destination. This will let our users load data from CRM apps and advertising platforms to GA4 for further analysis.
And, of course, we expect huge updates of the built-in data visualization and scale storage to enhance the user experience.
Whether you’ve been part of our journey or are considering rejoining, there’s never been a better time to explore Coupler.io. With our powerful tools, actionable insights, and a commitment to constant improvement, we’re here to help you master your data.
Let’s make 2025 even brighter, together!
